san antonio

No, I'm not dead, I've just been busy! Finally a blog post in over three months!

My mom and I went to San Antonio two weeks ago and it was an absolute blast! I am in love with the city: the Riverwalk, old Spanish missions, Mexican food, etc. I didn't want to leave! And now I'm thinking about living there at some point in my future. San Antonio is a photographer's heaven!

San Fernando Cathedral
the Torch of Friendship
this tree was gorgeous

redwoods
I love the brightly colored umbrellas
I can't remember the history behind this mosiac, but I thought it was cool

there was a wax museum by our hotel
in case the lions and soldiers don't stop you, the chairs will. haha

on a bridge in the riverwalk
the Tower of Americas

the Rose Window
I couldn't decide between black and white or color..

I wish more of the original frescoes were intact
this cathedral was built in 1720

the spanish governor's palace

GREAT place!

beautiful photos!!!! I loved the archways. Hate I didn't get to go! Looks like y'all had a blast! I know it is the desert, but still....eight bucks? I've got a newer (for me anyway) version of photoshop but absolutely no idea how to use it....I'll trade you, eight bucks to buy a bottle of water for photoshop lessons. How 'bout it?

You really have an eye for great photos. Loved the one with the lions, soldiers and chairs. How funny. Are you sure you don't want to pay $8 for water from FIJI? =) So maybe when you move to Provo I can get you to do some family pictures; that way I have a reason to track you down. =) You and your mom better tell me when you get here; I don't think you realize how much we love your family. Eli and I talk about your mom all the time and what a great lady she is. I want to be Sister White when I grow up. =)

Wish you could have come too Kelly! Yeah, we should get together and do that..

That's okay-I'm 3 months behind on catching up on everyone's blogs so I'm glad to know I didn't miss anything!

Love all of these-amazing!

And, um, please tell me that you pushed Tiger Woods' wax statue off after you took the picture-just for me. I was pleased beyond words that he didn't win the Masters.
