My dear friend Kelly and I went to Maryland last weekend. We had some interesting experiences getting there late (horribly rainy drive, creepy men at the hotel, etc). Our first day there was terribly rainy but we still had fun roaming the city and going into little shops. Taking pictures was excessively difficult, requiring us to stand under ledges, hold our umbrella awkwardly, or hold the other person's umbrella for them. Hence why we didn't get that many pictures the first day of our trip. The next couple of days were very nice (no rain!) and not too cold (good for us southern girls). We did much more picture taking. In fact, we were in picture taking heaven. There were tons of cool churches and lots of details to capture. We got lost in the country one day (without our cameras, sadly) and loved it so much we had to return again to take pictures of the fall beauty. This trip was a blast! I'm quite smitten with Maryland now..
we were in vintage clothes heaven
